We are happy to announce our participation in the Horizon 2020 funded MaRINET2, the Marine Renewables Infrastructure Network, trans-national access programme. The programme supports technology developers accelerate the development of offshore renewable energy technologies and infrastructures, by enabling them to access 57 top-level research facilities and infrastructures across 13 European countries. The project, co-ordinated by MaREI, is a network of 39 partners, involving research centres and organisations who work together to progress offshore renewable energy technologies such as wave, tidal and offshore-wind. This pan-European network will provide marine energy development companies, entrepreneurs, start-ups and researchers with fully-funded access to marine energy experts and the world's leading wave, tidal and offshore-wind test facilities.

We are participating in the MaRINET2 project with our new MRE ROV, a brand new light work class ROV!
Funded access is subject to a straightforward application process, and access to each facility is subject to appropriate allocation of time and budget. The 1st Access Call opened on the 10th of April 2017, all the relevant info can be found on the MaRINET2 website. The interested individuals of firms should make contact with the equipment managers early to be in with the best chance for funded access. For our ROVs, contact Gerard Dooly or Daniel Toal.
