18st December 2015
The Optical Fiber Sensors Research Centre (www.ofsrc.ul.ie) and the Mobile & Marine Robotics Research Centre (www.mmrrc.ul.ie) from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering (www.ece.ul.ie) held the Annual Progression Colloquium. The postgraduate students presented their research work from 2015 and plans for the coming year. The presentations were followed by individual discussions for each project and possible collaboration in the future work. After the colloquium the entire group went for a pleasant Christmas dinner where the members had the chance to get to know each others even better.
Both centres continuously demonstrate their commitment to the university's strategic plans and internationalisation goals, as well as enjoy an international reputation, for our students come from a variety of cultures and nationalities.
